A person acting for an organisation confirms that the person is duly authorised to represent and bind that organisation.
We may request identity, address, tax, banking, registration, beneficiary or authorisation documents before permitting use of any service.
User Accounts
Users must provide accurate, complete and current information, protect login credentials, update outdated information and immediately report suspected unauthorised access.
We may suspend or close accounts containing false, misleading, impersonated or unverifiable information.
Nature of the Platform
Depending on the Campaign, Dharmic Seva Trust may act as the organiser, implementing trust, fundraising facilitator, technology provider, grant-making partner, procurement coordinator or a combination of these roles.
A Campaign appearing on the Platform does not create a partnership, employment relationship, agency or joint venture between a Donor and a Campaigner or Beneficiary.
Campaign Submission and Verification
Campaigners must provide all information and documents requested by the Trust, including identity documents, registration certificates, PAN, tax registrations, bank details, beneficiary consent, estimates, quotations, medical or project records and utilisation documents, as applicable.
Submission of a Campaign does not guarantee approval or publication. The Trust may approve, reject, request changes to, postpone, suspend or remove a Campaign for legal compliance, donor protection, risk management or safeguarding the intended purpose.
Campaigner Responsibilities
Every Campaigner represents that all information is true, complete and not misleading; the Campaign is lawful and genuine; all necessary consents have been obtained; and Campaign proceeds will be used only for the approved purpose.
Campaigners must maintain proper books, invoices, bills and utilisation records, provide progress updates and promptly disclose any material change affecting the Campaign.
Campaign funds must not be used for personal enrichment, fraud, unlawful activity, political campaigning, money laundering or any prohibited purpose.
Donations
All Donations are voluntary and do not represent a purchase, investment, loan, equity contribution, deposit or promise of financial return.
Donors should review the Campaign description and available information before donating. Verification reduces risk but does not guarantee that every estimate, timeline or future outcome will remain unchanged.
The Trust may prescribe minimum or maximum Donation amounts based on payment limits, legal requirements or internal controls.
Donation Allocation and Campaign Changes
Donations will ordinarily be applied towards the selected Campaign. If a Campaign is completed, cancelled, impracticable, receives excess funds or cannot lawfully proceed, the Trust may apply funds to a closely related need, another similar Campaign, the Trust’s general charitable objects, hold the amount pending an appropriate use or issue a refund where appropriate.
Campaign targets, budgets, beneficiary counts and timelines are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. A Campaign may be extended, closed early, implemented in phases or modified due to field conditions, emergencies, vendor availability or regulatory requirements.
Use and Disbursement of Funds
Funds may be disbursed in instalments, through an approved Campaigner or implementation partner, by direct payment to hospitals, schools, temples, vendors or service providers, by procurement of goods or services, or through another legally permitted method.
Disbursement may be subject to successful settlement, KYC, bank verification, bills, agreements, milestones, updates and legal review. The Trust may withhold, defer or stop disbursement where misuse, misrepresentation or non-compliance is suspected.
Fees and Charges
The Trust may incur payment-gateway, banking, technology, verification, marketing, content, administration, monitoring, fulfilment and implementation costs.
Any platform fee, promotional expense, payment charge, statutory levy or administrative deduction will be governed by the Campaign agreement or disclosures made on the Campaign or payment page. Applicable taxes may be charged where required by law.
Payment Processing
Payments may be processed by third-party payment gateways, banks, card networks and UPI providers. By initiating payment, the Donor authorises those providers to process the transaction and associated information.
The Trust is not responsible for losses arising solely from incorrect payment details, insufficient funds, transaction rejection, network failure, delayed settlement or independent acts of a payment provider.
Recurring Donations
Where recurring donations are offered, the Donor authorises periodic debits through the selected payment provider. Cancellation applies only to future debits and does not ordinarily reverse donations already processed.
Indian and Foreign Contributions
Donations are subject to applicable Indian laws relating to taxation, foreign contributions, anti-money laundering and payment processing.
A contribution from a foreign source may be accepted only where the receiving entity is legally authorised and all required declarations and documents are provided. The Trust may reject, reverse or hold any transaction that raises a compliance concern.
Tax Benefits and Receipts
A receipt may be issued after successful settlement. Tax exemption is available only where the relevant entity has valid approval, the donation and payment method qualify, accurate donor information is provided and all statutory conditions are met.
The Trust does not guarantee acceptance of any deduction by a tax authority. Donors should obtain independent tax advice.
Campaign Updates and Beneficiary Dignity
Campaigners must provide progress reports and evidence when requested. Updates may be delayed due to field conditions, privacy, emergencies, construction timelines or institutional approvals.
Campaigners must obtain appropriate consent before sharing beneficiary names, images, videos or sensitive information. The Trust may edit, blur, redact, restrict or remove content to protect dignity, privacy and safety.
Communications
Users may receive payment confirmations, receipts, Campaign updates, security alerts, compliance requests, impact reports and promotional communications through email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, push notifications or other channels.
Users may opt out of promotional communications, but transactional and compliance messages may still be sent where necessary.
Prohibited Use
Users must not violate law, submit false or forged information, impersonate others, create fraudulent Campaigns, misuse funds, infringe rights, upload malicious code, scrape content without permission, use stolen payment instruments, engage in money laundering or exploit Beneficiaries.

Campaigners grant the Trust a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, edit, translate, publish, distribute and promote Campaign content for fundraising, reporting, awareness, compliance and archival purposes.
Third-Party Services
The Platform may link to external websites, social-media platforms and payment services. The Trust is not responsible for their availability, security, content, terms or privacy practices.
Suspension, Fraud and Recovery
The Trust may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts, Campaigns, transactions or access where these Terms are violated, information is unverifiable, suspicious activity is detected, authorities issue directions or donor and beneficiary interests are at risk.
Where fraud, diversion or misuse is suspected, the Trust may stop disbursements, request an audit, communicate with Donors, recover amounts, report the matter to authorities and initiate legal proceedings.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. The Trust does not warrant uninterrupted access, achievement of Campaign targets, completion within a particular period or uninterrupted availability of third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Trust and its trustees, employees, volunteers and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from use of the Platform, reliance on Campaign information or acts of independent Campaigners, vendors or payment providers.
Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify the Trust and its trustees, employees, volunteers and authorised representatives against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal expenses arising from breach of these Terms, false information, misuse of funds, infringement of rights or violation of law.
Force Majeure
The Trust will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, governmental action, cyber incidents, transport disruption, payment-system failure, fire, flood, war or civil disturbance.
Privacy
Personal information will be handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.
Grievance Redressal

General Provisions
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in force. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Campaign disclosures and written Campaign agreements, constitute the complete agreement governing use of the Platform.
